The Center for Advancing  Leadership & Design (The CENTER) is the perfect place to learn about new careers in the Architecture, Engineering(A/E/) and Design Industries. These industries are often mentioned with Construction.

• Youth ages 16-24

• In school youth on a A/E/C or Design based CTE track in High School (Jr/Sr.)

• Out of school youth open to exploring a possible new career 

• A person enrolled in STEM or STEAM programming or has a sincere interest in learning

• A person with interest or experience in drawing

• A person who desires and loves to observe buildings and structures

• A person who has a sincere interest in how buildings and structures are made

We  help participants pave a new path to the Architecture, Engineering and Design Industry by facilitating courses that cover every angle of the industry and foster creative exploration.

We offer students stipends for their participation within the program and assist with professional and education based "next steps".

Students gain leadership knowledge as well, which empowers their interactions with professionals in the industry throughout the program.

  With the goal of sending diverse applicants out into the workforce and academic arena, our hope is that we enroll participants of all backgrounds and cultures, with varying skills and strengths.  

Participants will engage in site visits, in-house education, hands on application and reflection of Architecture, Engineering, Planning and Design concepts over the course of 20-30 weeks.
